Golf weather has finally arrived at Copper Mill and that also means the agronomy department is starting up their busiest time of year. To make sure Copper Mill keeps progressing in conditioning and turf health, an in depth agronomic plan has been put in place. We have implemented a bi weekly granular program and a weekly foliar program for greens to keep good turf health. Also, we will be performing a small core aerification on greens in both May and June which is very important for future turf health and to promote great playing conditions. We will also be implementing a progressive herbicide program to promote the cleanup of high focus areas such as tee surrounds, green surrounds, and fairways throughout the property. It's an exciting time at Copper Mill and were excited to be progressing towards a successful year for golf course conditioning!
